What Happens After Your Pest Treatments
So, not all treatments are the same, but here are some general tips on what happens in the aftermath of your pest control treatment.
After a Spider Treatment
- Ground spiders tend to be challenging to treat, hiding in burrows. Typically more than one treatment is required.
- After your treatment, spiders will be flushed out.
- Webbing spiders should be reduced by 80-100%, depending on the initial severity.
- If you live in an area with lots of trees and shrubs, you will never stop spiders 100% from entering your home.
After an Ants Treatment
- It is crucial that you do not spray anything or disturb the ant trails as ants carry the insecticide back to their nest.
- If you see scattered or dying ants, this is your indication that the treatment is working.
- It is common to see an increase in ant activity up to 3 weeks after treatment. Please call us back if the situation has not improved after this period.
After a Roach Treatment
- You may find dead cockroaches for a couple of weeks after your treatment. It’s perfectly normal to see cockroaches due to the flushing effect of the treatment.
- No matter how thorough treatment is, some may survive and carry eggs but be controlled.
- Your treatment will continue working after the initial spraying, providing ongoing control through the service period.
- So, give it some time, and they’ll be gone soon enough.
After a Rodent Treatment
- You can expect to hear or see an increase in rodent activity after the treatment has been done.
- The increase in activity is because they become attracted to the baits.
- This will subside over 3-4 weeks.
- Do not seal off any entrance/exit points until the infestation is under control.
